B20 Indonesia inception meeting was held on 27-28 January 2022

“Organized by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry – KADIN Indonesia, the B20 Indonesia inception meeting was held on 27-28 January 2022. The meeting was begun by remarks from B20 Indonesia Chair, Shinta Widjaja Kamdani, followed by a panel discussion from prominent keynote speakers including Brad Smith (president & vice-chairman of Microsoft), Joseph C. Tsai (executive vice chairman of Alibaba), Börje Ekholm (CEO of Ericsson), Andre Soelistyo (CEO of GoTo Group), Anindya Novyan Bakrie(KADIN supervisory board chair), Mike Bloomberg (founder of Bloomberg LP), Alok Sharma (president of COP26), Amin H Nasser (president & CEO of Saudi Aramco), Mark Carney (UN special envoy on climate action and finance), Francesco Starace (CEO of Enel Group), and Andrew Forrest AO, (chairman & founder, Fortescue Future Industries, Fortescue Metals Group, Minderoo Foundation).
This public event constitutes the official beginning of the B20 Presidency, which will be further followed by a series of task-force level meetings and side-events throughout the year. There will be a lot of more to come from the B20 side-events! Get ready, this year will be exciting”.
