Fond memories of Japan

My travels to Japan are infrequent these days but this was not the case from the 1980s through until 2009 so I was very interested to find out that Keidanren the powerful Japanese business federation was active in Africa and doing good things. In the 1980s I had hosted a Keidaren Mission to Los Angeles and had established excellent relations with both government bodies and major industry groups in Tokyo and it had become my favourite city in Asia. I also got know and built friendships with the organisers of TICAD a Tokyo Conference on Africa’s development.

The eNotus vision is a single information standard by which all nations can view economic opportunities, examine the minutiae of distant markets and adopt world-best practice for international and domestic trade.

Our vision is to enable investment to more easily target efficient production and cost effective service providers in developing economies, increase investment flows into these economies, help their private sectors to raise growth rates, and to connect their labor markets to global opportunities.
