eNotus International continues participation

The G20 Summit taking place in India has many challenges on its agenda, one such important matter can now be ticked off the list – the invitation for – The African Union to be formally invited to join the G20 as a permanent member.
eNotus executive chair Reymond Voutier was particularly pleased hearing the news announced by PM Narendra Modi at the beginning of the Summit. Mr Voutier having been involved as a member of the B20 Action Council on African Economic Integration under the leadership of Council Chair Sunil Bharti Mittal stated he was certain that the constructive work of the council would have supported the PMs decision to make this important announcement. eNotus had began efforts towards promoting economic integration in Africa through projects with UN over ten years back.
World leaders have been arriving in India the past few days, including Joe Biden, Rishi Sunak, Emmanuel Macron and others including leaders from the global south and UN Secretary – General  Antonio Guterrres who has praised India’s G20  initiatives as transformative. With Brazil and South Africa as the 2024 and 2025 Host Presidencies –  the strongly stated intention of Prime Minister Modi to engage the global south in the G20 future, is an accomplishment and along with the boost that India receives from the Summit on the worlds stage are testimony of India’s considerable effort in bringing the key issues to the big table before the upcoming UN General Assembly this month in New York.
